Our Republic unites our citizens - wherever in the world they exist and consume our whiskey. In Belfast, our history of distilling dates back to the mid-6th century. When the industry was at its height, Belfast whiskey-makers were the modernisers of the nation. Belfast created whiskey with global ambition. The Republic of Whiskey celebrates this history; shared and enjoyed by all. However, it is our focus on urban Belfast that makes us unique. Yes, we are shaped by our past - but we are defined by our modern spirit.
